This year was my third year face painting at the Royal Norfolk Show for Canaries Official. It’s such a fantastic two days, I’m always super busy and I love seeing people return each year who have come to find me especially to have their faces painted. I got my annual picture with Captain Canary so I was happy! It’s always so busy and a rarely get a chance to take any pictures. But with this blog in mind, I made sure I stopped to take a few pics of my favourite paints over the two days. I love the Norwich City Football Club gang, they work so hard for the fans to give them a great experience at all he events they run and I always feel really proud to be a part of it. So here’s to next years Royal Norfolk Show and many fun times in between

6/25/2018 1 Comment Hallee’s PartyHallee’s Party was a glittertastic one. I arrived at her house to lots of excited girls ready to be sparkled so I set up my station straight away and got started. The party had a festival/fete theme. With a bouncy castle, candy floss machine, slushy machine, a hot tub and myself and a nail bar. The girls all had flower headbands and it wasn’t long before one of them asked for a unicorn! So the theme of unicorns and mermaids soon took off and almost all ended up as one of the two! Hallee had a really cool unicorn flower headband. She wanted glitter on her face and a mermaid themed design on her chest. I also created a fishtail braid for her for ultimate mermaid vibes! used a range of chunky and biodegradable glitters as well as stick on gems. Some of the girls just wanted glitter, some face paint and glitter on the face and some wanted body art. Although a theme began I always like to make each design a bit different by changing the glitter colour or pattern that I do slightly. I loved creating these braids for Hallee’s friends. Fishtails are such a fun braid to do and they look so good! This cute pink kitty was really fun to do and the only design that really differed from the other designs. I love creating all different kinds of face paint designs so when someone wants something different to the rest it’s always fun for me. Just look at those glittery cat ears!
6/24/2018 0 Comments GoGo Anglia FreightThe Norfolk ‘GoGo Hare’ trail is well under way, with thousands of tags already across social media, selfies with the Hares, sticker collections growing and days out to find favourites, everyone’s gone hopping made for it! There is one in particular that I am very fond of and this is why..... A few weeks ago I got to join in the 25th year anniversary celebrations with Anglia Freight. The company have sponsored the Go Go Hare ‘Captain Jack Rabbit’ which was designed with Norfolk’s naval history in mind. Our costal towns were a traditional haunt of smugglers and pirates and at this party, so was Mid Suffolk Business Park! You can see Captain Jack Rabbit situated at St James Mill, Whitefriars, Norwich. He even has his own Twitter account @captjackrab so be sure to tag him in any selfies you take with him, as the gang at Anglia Freight would love to see them! The company put on an amazing party for their staff. There was a bouncy castle, Hog roast, singers, children’s entertainment, an awards ceremony, a complimentary drinks bar and of course face painting! Geoff, or should I say Captain Moulton, founded Anglia Freight 25 years ago and it is now a family run business with a strong set of values, where peace of mind, loyalty, innovation and exceptional service are at the top of their priority list. The managing directors clearly value their staff and the party was a true celebration of the company and the whole team within in it. It was such a pleasure to meet everyone and join in the celebrations. I’m looking forward to next year already!
